LOCALISED PRODUCTION AT SCALE IS NEEDED TO MEET NEW DEMAND

Europe’s demand for Lithium Chemicals is expected to reach 400,000 tonnes per annum by 2030.

Currently, European battery and Electric Vehicle manufacturers are reliant on lithium chemicals produced exclusively outside of the EU, the majority coming from Asia.

The required high quality LCE lithium chemicals have a limited shelf life and are susceptible to degradation during transport, factors impacting quality.

Livista Energy will construct Europe’s first two lithium conversion facilities capable of processing recycled battery materials close to direct consumers, delivering premium quality, traceable products.

The planned initial capacity of each plant will be 40,000 tonnes per annum of high purity lithium chemicals ramping up in line with the market growth by adding expansion of similar capacity to each plant to match the market needs.
