LOCALISED PRODUCTION AT SCALE IS NEEDED TO MEET NEW DEMAND

Europe’s lithium demand is forecast to grow to over 1 000 000 tons of lithium carbonate equivalent in the next decade

Currently, European battery and Electric Vehicle manufacturers are reliant on lithium chemicals produced exclusively outside of the EU, the majority coming from Asia.

The required high quality LCE lithium chemicals have a limited shelf life and are susceptible to degradation during transport, factors impacting quality.

Livista Energy will construct Europe’s first two lithium conversion facilities capable of processing recycled battery materials close to direct consumers, delivering premium quality, traceable products.
