About us:

Livista Energy Europe S.A. is a company developing the largest project of Lithium refining plants in Europe, when this region is drastically lacking this competence and rely mostly on Asia for this critical raw material for the batteries of the Electrical Vehicles (EV).

Participating to Livista Energy development and growth represents a contribution to a better environment by implementing the energy transition and ensuring circular economy is maximized.

The first plant is planned to be built in Germany, starting construction in 2024 and production in 2026. We already have affiliates in Germany and UK for our second plant starting 9 months after.

We have just launched our tender for the FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and we will deploy a Project management team in our contractor’s office in Western Europe by the end of this first quarter of 2023.

Our head office in Luxembourg is launching recruitment of key personnel in all locations.

This role is reporting to the Project Director and will be located in Lower Saxony (Germany).

Your role:

You will be responsible for scoping, development, and management of the project’s Permitting program, schedule, budget and risk management.
You will supervise the performance Permitting processes and Permitting contractors, due diligence, obtaining permits, obtaining environmental clearances, and organizing and integrating environmental, permit-conditional, and third-party agreement measures required to finance, and construct our projects.

Your responsibilities:

➢ Define Scope of Work of Permitting for each Project and each part of Project that needs a separate Permitting process
➢ Coordinate necessary Permitting tender processes
➢ Supervise and monitor the execution of permitting scope of works
➢ Work closely with project teams to navigate permitting challenges and ensure all needed documentations meet all the technical and schedule needs
➢ Identify risks and issues and propose and implement mitigation measures
Lead and advise on the development of permitting QA/QC of work processes and deliverables
Work closely with HSSES, Project control and other managers to ensure that Permitting issues are understood and resolved without delay
Work with accounting department to review invoices, expenditures, and project audits for projects and tasks
➢ Implement and relay Livista’s Energy safety procedures and technical standards and ESG criteria

Your profile:

➢ University degree (civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or else)
Solid experience in a similar role, ideally in the context of Chemistry or Oil & Gas, Process Engineering and/or Construction
Solid network with the respective authorities and notified bodies is mandatory
➢ Excellent communication, planning and negotiation skills
Perfect German and English language skills are required
