With increased demand for Lithium-ion Batteries, local supply hubs are now forming around traditional automobile manufacturing centres. Modern manufacturing lines are supported by cathode manufacturers and battery assembly plants.

 

While Europe is essentially dependent on Asia for its refined battery grade Lithium supply as of today, Livista Energy will build Europe’s first stand-alone lithium chemical converters to supply these hubs with the critical battery grade materials necessary to meet market growth in e-mobility and energy storage.
