Luxembourg, 01 August 2024 – Livista Energy, a leader in the development of advanced lithium refining capabilities in Europe, is pleased to announce a strategic leadership transition to support its next phase of growth and development. Effective immediately, Jean-Marc Ichbia will succeed Daniel Bloor as Chief Executive Officer, leading Livista Energy as it will soon enter the critical phases of engineering, construction, and operation of its major lithium refining projects.

Jean-Marc Ichbia brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in leading and delivering large-scale industrial projects. With 24 years of experience at Total Energies and 8 years at Novatek, Jean-Marc previously served as project director of the €22 billion “Arctic LNG 2” project. His extensive background in engineering, construction, and operations will be instrumental as Livista Energy transitions from planning to execution in its mission to develop Europe’s premier lithium refining capabilities.
