Livista Execution Strategy update: Pre-feasibility Study completion

Livista Energy is proud to announce that following the successful closure of our Pre-Feasibility Study (a technical and economic report) with the support of SWECO (a Finnish-Swedish engineering company), Livista Energy will contribute to create thousands of direct and indirect jobs, becoming an essential piece of the European Electric Vehicles Supply Chain and a precursor of the circular economy of Lithium by developing local cooperation.

Our co-founder and CEO Daniel Bloor explains:

“We will therefore be able to upgrade our initial plan and to consider building two plants of 30 000 Mt of Lithium Hydroxide and 10 000 Mt of Lithium Carbonate battery grade per year, each of them with a potential expansion of the same capacity. Each plant will provide enough lithium battery grade for the batteries of 850 000 Electric Vehicles.”

Our co-founder and Chairman of the Board Roland Getreide quotes:

“We are grateful for the support of local and state authorities, and of our financial partners, for this project which will help secure Europe’s independence in battery-grade lithium.  This will help deliver the energy transition in the most sustainable way possible, as we continue to develop strategic partnerships with global mining operations, as well as with European lithium-ion battery recycling facilities.”
